Sorrento Ensemble

The “Sorrento Ensemble” was formed in 2011 from the union of two guitarists, Lauro and Paolo and one mandolinist, Nino, from the Sorrentine Peninsula.
Their great passion for Neapolitan music and years of experience in this field, together with their collaboration with some important international artists (see the C.V.s of the individual musicians), has made the Ensemble very successful.
“Sorrento Ensemble” is a show which is fun but at the same time cultural, with moments of great musical ability united with charm and audience participation.
From popular classics like Torna ‘a Surriento, Santa Lucia and ‘O sole mio  to the very fast Tarantellas, where the audience can join in by playing tambourines, like in the finale of Funiculì Funiculà.
In other words it is a show which offers the audience an evening of entertainment and fun combined with some historical facts about the most famous Neapolitan songs.
